tae has started calling me "mom." mostly, it's in the context of phrases like, "thanks mom!" or "come mom!"

My daughter, too! It kinda annoys me as she's only 2.75YO and I really likes it when she calls me 'mommy'. She also calls me by my first name sometimes...we're working on why she should call me 'mommy/mom' instead...

Does that make you a little sad? I ask because whenever LN says "Mom" (she thinks it's a little bit of a game...), I get a teeny sad that I'm not going to be Mommy for too much longer...
