scenes from the weekend

i was ecstatic that the rain held off for saturday.  spent the night out, enjoying the freezing cold air and death cab for cutie.  funny moment of the night - ben gibbard trying to make small talk by making fun of irish people and red sox fan in boston = BAD IDEA ben.

what else could i wish for on mother's day?
